After the immense success of the FIRST DERMATOSCOPY CONCLAVE (21/6/2015, New Delhi), and the PRP CONCLAVE (18/10/2015, Gurgaon), both organized by DERMASOURCEINDIA, it gives us immense pleasure to extend a very warm welcome to ALL OF YOU, this time our joint venture, the PCOD CONCLAVE 2016; being organized in association with the Department of Dermatology, JAYPEE HOSPITAL, Noida (National Capital Region – NCR) on 7^th FEBRUARY 2016, ,focusing on an extremely difficult and controversial subject that dermatologists face day-in and day-out, i.e. Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD).
PCOD has become rampant in young adult Indian women. While a patient with PCOD often presented to a gynaecologist earlier, the multitude of skin and hair alterations stemming from PCOD, seen in practically all cases, has rendered dermatologists the first level of contact for these patients. The spectral nature of PCOD and its myriad presentations make its diagnosis and management precarious.
Thus, the PCOD CONCLAVE is being organized by us, as we feel its time for our fraternity to gear up and perfect the science and art of managing this intriguing disorder. This one day exhaustive CME has been specifically designed and programmed to thrash out every practical aspect of this mysterious condition’s diagnosis, and management.
We understand the need of multidisciplinary approach and interdisciplinary coordination individualized for every case with PCOD to optimize treatment outcomes and minimize patient discomfort and treatment associated adverse effects.
