ROLE PLAY SIMULATION
- In this workshop, 4-5 real-life clinical situations will be created on stage for the delegates in a pre-scripted manner, and volunteer delegates will be invited to attempt and counsel the ‘mock’ patients, who will be trained and rehearsed theatre artists.
- The volunteer delegate dermatologists will face a tough patient scenario and would have to handle and counsel the mock patient to the best of his/her ability.
- After the role play finishes (timed: – 10-15 minutes per patient), an EXPERT PANEL of Senior Psychiatrists and Dermatologists proficient in psychodermatology will then point out the errors or lacunae in the management of the difficult patient and display the IDEAL way of dealing in such a tricky clinical situation.
This model of learning will be used for the first time in the history of Indian Dermatology!
