DIDACTIC LECTURES
With a sui generis ensemble of experienced faculty and experts practicing dermoscopy for various indications, the pre-lunch scientific programme shall cover highly informative, illustrious and interactive lectures. The topics dwelled upon shall include the basic concepts of dermoscopy and interpretation of basic dermoscopic images and patterns; role and utility of dermoscopy in different disorders, clubbed under sessions devoted to – Pigmentary disorders, Trichoscopy, Onychoscopy, Inflammascopy and Miscellaneous disorders.
INTERACTIVE PANEL DISCUSSION WITH EXPERTS
The biggest dilemma that a beginner of dermoscopy faces is: Which instrument should he buy, of the plethora of dermoscopes with different features and costing available in the market. Our Expert Panelists will answer all your queries related to the optimally choosing your instrument which would suit your practice; maintaining a fine balance of utility and cost-effectiveness of the instrument.
LIVE-VIDEO DEMONSTRATION
After having gained a detailed insight into the principles of dermoscopy and specific images of specific dermatoses, some of the faculty members will give you a live video demonstration on patients of select skin disorders, to orient you to the concept in real time. This live video demo will form the prologue of the next stage, i.e. World Café or HANDS-ON-TRAINING.
WORLD CAFÉ
The World café is a creative process to facilitate sharing of knowledge and ideas through a network of conversation and action. A café ambience will be created, in which learning delegates will be divided into small groups to discuss separate aspects of dermoscopy along with HANDS-ON-TRAINING with one or two expert faculty members around a table, specially allocated for that subspecialty of dermoscopy. Here you can learn using the dermoscope on consenting patients, with the aid of faculty members, who will facilitate you in how to hold and focus the dermoscope, and interpret the images to arrive at a dermoscopic diagnosis. Ten workshop tables with faculty members will be available for different patient/condition subtypes.

The scientific proceedings will end with a short quiz for all the participating delegates (not for faculty!), teasing your mind about your acquired concepts of dermoscopy and related questions. There are prizes to be won – including DERMOSCOPES!
